FAQ - TCB Denim

The TCB lineup is based on different vintage eras of denim:

40’s – The most relaxed and roomy fit, inspired by wartime denim with a higher rise and wider leg.
50’s – A classic straight fit with a balanced top block and traditional 1950s silhouette.
60’s – A slightly slimmer and more refined fit, reflecting the gradual shift toward modern tailoring.

Most TCB jeans are one wash (pre-shrunk), meaning shrinkage is minimal. However, like all raw inspired denim, you may experience slight tightening(1-3%) in the fabric initially, which relaxes with wear.

The TCB 50’s is typically the best starting point. It offers a balanced straight fit that feels classic without being overly loose or slim, making it the most versatile option in the lineup.

Wash inside out in cold water when necessary. Many raw denim wearers prefer to delay the first wash to encourage stronger fade contrast, but this is a personal preference.
